As you all know the NCAA regulations and rules changes have dictated that we are unable to hold our event this year at the Breslin Center. Click here for the official press release from MSU.
I cannot tell you how disappointed I am about this late development resulting in a change of venue. I realize that this is a major letdown for all of your players and families. Trust me when I say that every attempt was made to keep the event at Breslin Center but our every attempt failed.
Venue:
We will play all games as scheduled at Don Johnson Fieldhouse at Lansing Eastern High School. The facility holds approximately 6700 people. The address is 220 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, MI.
Tickets:
Any tickets that you sold to your students or parents are still good for admission to the event. Remaining tickets and money collected needs to be turned in the day of the event to the ticket office. Checks need to be made out to Holiday Hoops Invitational.
Tickets at the door will be $5. We will issue a $2 refund to students who have purchased a ticket at the school and a $7 refund to adults who purchased a ticket at the school.
Parking passes/Pass lists:
All parking passes issued will still be able to be used. There will be a parking pass lot established near the North entrance.
Credentials and pass list guests will need to enter through the South entrance.
Bands/Cheers Teams/Dance teams/Anthem singers:
All in-game activities will still be held. Teams and all others included here will enter through the South Entrance.
Bussing:
Dean Transportation has been notified of the change in venue and is all set. Any questions please contact Dean Transportation directly.
Team hosts:
We will still have team hosts assigned to each participating school. When you arrive at the event a team host will greet you and stay with you for the duration of your stay.
