Faith M. Holiday
Co-CEO, Operations & Coaching Director, HOOPS Program
coachfaith@holidayhoops.org 407-513-2017
Faith Majiae Holiday was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and raised in a family rooted in athletics and community leadership. As the protégé of Holiday HOOPS & ARTS founder Westley “Doc” Holiday, Sr., she grew up traveling with the Holiday and Gaffney families to high school, college, and professional athletic tournaments. These early experiences shaped her lifelong commitment to youth development through sports, arts, and mentorship.
For almost 15 years, Faith has led Holiday HOOPS & ARTS, impacting hundreds of young lives as an award-winning basketball coach and mentor. She is a three-time Florida Regional Championship Coach and has led Holiday HOOPS teams to dozens of championship games across the country. Faith emphasizes mentorship, discipline, and accountability both on and off the court.
Her professional background includes coordinating support services for students with special needs, serving as a teaching aide, and coaching high school and college basketball teams throughout Central Florida and Georgia.
Faith also served as a volunteer coach for the Orlando Junior Magic program and earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Marketing and Media from Full Sail University. Her “Defense of the Mind” coaching philosophy focuses on communication, trust, and skill-building. She created the Holiday HOOPS & ARTS motto, “One Team, One Dream,” which reflects both the organization’s mission and the meaning behind her name, Faith.
