Skills & Health
Our youth grow as athletes and artists, but strong life skills and good health are essential for long-term success. Our Skills & Health programming supports children and families with tools that build confidence, well-being, and resilience beyond the court and the stage.

Community Skills & Health Event
The annual Community Skills & Health Event brings families together for a day of learning, connection, and support. Through hands-on workshops, health screenings, resource booths, and volunteer activities, children and families gain tools that promote
growth, well-being, and resilience. The event also encourages service, helping youth understand the value of giving back and staying engaged in their community. By creating space to learn and connect, we help build stronger, healthier neighborhoods.

Testimonials

Holiday HOOPS & ARTS partnered with the Orlando Union Rescue Mission for a Day of Service that combined basketball, leadership, and community impact. Youth participants built skills on and off the court while learning the importance of teamwork and
giving back. The experience inspired confidence and purpose, showing young people how service can empower them to become leaders in their communities. Parents and staff praised the event for fostering growth, hope, and a deeper commitment to community involvement.
