Skills & Health
Our kids can become great athletes and talented artists, but they also need strong life skills and good health to truly thrive. That’s why we created Skills & Health programming to support children and their families with the tools for long-term success

Community Skills & Health Event
The annual Community Skills & Health Event brings families together for a meaningful day of learning, connection, and support. Through hands-on workshops, health screenings, resource booths, and volunteer activities, children and their families gain important
tools for growth and well-being. The event also encourages giving back, helping kids understand the value of service and community involvement. By creating opportunities to learn and connect, we help build stronger, healthier neighborhoods.

Testimonials

Holiday Hoops teamed up with the Orlando Union Rescue Mission for a Day of Service that combined basketball, leadership, and community impact. Youth participants built skills on and off the court, learning the value of teamwork and giving back. The event
inspired confidence and a sense of purpose, showing kids how serving others can empower them to become leaders in their communities. Parents and staff praised the experience for fostering growth, hope, and a deeper commitment to community involvement.
