HH&A Q&A Live Series
A conversation can share knowledge, introduce a new perspective, reconnect generations, or inspire someone to take action. Through the HH&A Q&A Live Series, Holiday HOOPS & ARTs is creating a space for all four.
Launched in April 2026 during our 25th Anniversary year, the series brings together the people who make up the HH&A community, from alumni and athletes to parents, coaches, Board members, professionals, and longtime supporters. Inspired by the vision of new Board member Sarah Conviser, each episode explores a different part of our mission while giving our community access to stories, experiences, and insights that can continue making an impact long after the livestream ends.
Four episodes later, HH&A Q&A Live is continuing to grow alongside our organization. And on August 27 at 7 p.m. ET, we're bringing the community together once again for Episode 5.
It Started With a Conversation
HH&A Q&A Live launched in April 2026 with an Episode 1 conversation featuring influencer and HH&A board member Alisha Poitier, and they discussed "The Story of HH&A" and our why.
Since then, each episode has opened the door to a different part of our mission and the people behind it.
Episode 2, “How Sports & Arts Change Lives,” brought together two HH&A Advisory Council members, Edward A. Enrique and Olive Nadine Lindo, to explore the role athletics and creative expression can play in the development of young people.
For Episode 3, “Health & Life Skills Beyond the Court,” Co-CEO Coach Faith Holiday was joined by sports psychologist Dr. Jenny Conviser for a conversation centered on the mental and emotional side of youth sports. Together, they offered professional insight for young athletes, parents, and coaches while expanding the conversation beyond performance on the court.
Then, in July, Episode 4 asked a simple but important question: “Why Giving (Back) Matters.”
Co-CEO Westley Todd Holiday was joined by Coach Steven Karnes, team mom Sachi Beckford, and HH&A alumna and 2026 Gala Honoree Lekita Logan Range.
Each represented a different way of giving back.
Coach Steven, alongside Coach James Lynch, has been a driving force behind HH&A’s West Palm Beach program. Through Steven’s fundraising leadership, nearly $60,000 has been raised over the past three years to support the program’s 100% donor-funded high school senior team.
Sachi has been part of the HH&A family for more than five years, supporting not only her own son but other athletes and families as a dedicated team mom and volunteer.
Lekita’s story brought the conversation full circle. Before becoming an entrepreneur, mother, author, and 2026 Alumni Honoree, she was a young Holiday HOOPS basketball player alongside current Co-CEO Faith Holiday. Years later, she returned
to share how the people and opportunities that invested in her as a child helped shape the person she became.
Together, their stories reinforced one of the biggest lessons of the series so far: impact rarely stops with one person.
More Than a Live Series
As HH&A celebrates 25 years, the Q&A Live Series is becoming another way we can carry out our mission beyond a single practice, game, event, or program.
Our community holds decades of experience.
Our alumni can show today's athletes what is possible. Our coaches and parents understand what it takes to support young people along the way. Our Board, Advisory Council, partners, and professionals can introduce families to knowledge and resources that extend far beyond athletics and arts.
HH&A Q&A Live gives those voices a place to meet.
It also allows these conversations to live beyond the moment. Each episode becomes a resource that families, athletes, coaches, volunteers, and community members can return to as HH&A continues developing its Life Skills & Health programming and expanding the ways we serve young people.

Now, the conversation continues.

Building the Next 25 Years
The growth of the HH&A Q&A Live Series is just one piece of a much bigger year for Holiday HOOPS & ARTs.
Our 25th Anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate where we have been while creating the foundation for where we are going.
Through the Anniversary Campaign Legacy Fund, HH&A is investing in three priorities for its future: scholarships that expand access for young people, sustainability that strengthens our programs and organization, and our vision for a permanent space where youth and families can learn, create, compete, and grow.
That journey will come together on October 16, 2026, at our 25th Anniversary Gala at Manatee Lagoon in West Palm Beach. The evening will celebrate the people and stories that have shaped our first 25 years while helping build momentum for the next 25.
